بیمه خودرو در ایران دو شکل دارد: بیمه بدنه ماشین و بیمه شخص ثالث.
بیمه بدنه خودرو در واقع خسارت‌های کلی و جزئی واردشده به اتومبیل را پوشش می‌دهد و دربرگیرندۀ مواردی مثل سرقت، آتش‌سوزی و تصادفاتی می‌شود که به اتومبیل خسارت وارد می‌کنند. این نوع بیمه در قوانین کشور اختیاری است. نوع دیگری از بیمه با عنوان بیمه شخص ثالث، که با نام بیمه مسئولیت مدنی دارندگان اتومبیل هم شناخته می‌شود. خسارت‌های مالی و جانی‌ای را پوشش می‌دهد که بدون مقصر بودن فرد بیمه‌گزار، به دلیل حادثه، به شخص ثالث (سرنشین یا عابر یا…) وارد می‌شود. این نوع بیمه که به خودرو‌ها تعلق می‌گیرد از نظر قانون‌گذار بیمه‌ای اجباری است. مفقودی کارت بیمه خودرو نیز یکی از مشکلاتی است که شما با آن ممکن است رو به رو شوید.
به همین دلیل، اگر کارت بیمه خودرو یا کارت بیمه شخص ثالث شما مفقود شود، لازم است در اسرع وقت برای دریافت مجدد کارت بیمه خودرو اقدام کنید. همچنین اعلام مفقودی کارت بیمه خودرو ضروری است. البته گرفتن کارت بیمه المثنی نیازی به چاپ آگهی مفقودی کارت بیمه ندارد. در این مقاله، تمام مراحلی را که در صورت گم شدن کارت بیمه ماشین باید طی کنید برای شما توضیح خواهیم داد.
گم شدن کارت بیمه خودرو

اعلام مفقودی کارت بیمه خودرو از طریق انتشار آگهی مفقودی کارت بیمه خودرو در روزنامه رسمی یا درج آگهی مفقودی کارت بیمه شخص ثالث در روزنامه‌های کثیرالانتشار صورت نمی‌گیرد. هنگام گم شدن کارت بیمه خودرو فقط باید به سرعت به نزدیک‌ترین دفتر شرکت بیمه خود مراجعه کنید و ضمن اعلام مراتب مفقودی کارت بیمه خودرو برای دریافت کارت المثنی بیمه درخواست دهید. با این اقدام، شما از سوءاستفاده‌های احتمالی از گم شدن کارت بیمه ماشین‌تان جلوگیری خواهید کرد. در این مواقع، پس از اعلام گم شدن کارت بیمه بدنه یا اعلام مفقودی کارت بیمه شخص ثالث، شرکت بیمه ابتدا کارت بیمه خودرو گمشده شما را مسدود خواهد کرد و سپس برای صدور مجدد آن دست به کار می‌شود. توصیه می‌شود پیش از رفتن به دفاتر بیمه، تمام مدارک مورد نیاز برای این کار را آماده کنید و با خود به همراه ببرید.
مدارک لازم برای دریافت کارت بیمه خودرو جدید
در صورت گم شدن کارت بیمه بدنه ماشین یا مفقودی کارت بیمه شخص ثالث باید با در دست داشتن سند خودرو، کپی سند مالکیت خودرو و کارت ملی به نزدیک‌ترین دفتر بیمه مراجعه نمایید. سپس مالک خودرو درخواستی کتبی مبنی بر مفقودی کارت بیمه خودرو به همراه درخواستی برای دریافت مجدد کارت بیمه پر خواهد کرد. پس از اعلام مفقودی کارت بیمه خودرو، این سازمان کارت مفقود شده شما را باطل خواهد کرد. شرکت‌های بیمه، برای جلوگیری از سوءاستفاده کلاه‌برداران، کارت بیمه شخص ثالث المثنی صادر نمی‌کنند؛ بلکه مجدداً یک گواهی بیمه‌نامه شخص ثالث برای شما صادر می‌نمایند.
همان‌طور که پیش‌تر گفته شد، برای گرفتن کارت جدید نیازی به درج آگهی مفقودی کارت بیمه در روزنامه‌ها نیست. نمایندۀ بیمه، تعداد کوپن‌هایی را که استفاده کرده‌اید استعلام می‌کند و آن را در کارت جدید بیمه شخص ثالث شما درج می‌کند. توجه داشته باشید که اگر مدارک ماشین شما بر اثر سرقت مفقود شده باشند، برای دریافت کارت بیمه المثنی باید گواهی معتبری از گزارش سرقت را نیز به همراه داشته باشید.
هزینه دریافت دوباره کارت بیمه خودرو
بر اساس قوانین بیمه‌ای کشورمان و اعلام رسمی سازمان بیمه مرکزی ایران، گرفتن هر نوع هزینه‌ای برای دریافت کارت بیمه خودرو المثنی ممنوع است. همچنین نیازی به پرداخت هزینه‌های انتشار آگهی گم شدن کارت بیمه خودرو در روزنامه‌ها نیست. بنابراین اگر کارت بیمه خودرو خود را گم کرده‌اید و متقاضی دریافت گواهی بیمه خودرو هستید، به هیچ وجه نباید مبلغی بابت آن بپردازید. در صورت مشاهدۀ هر گونه تخلفی در این زمینه، میتوانید از طریق سایت بیمه مرکزی از شرکت متخلف شکایت کنید. در حال حاضر، برخی شرکت‌های بیمه، این خدمت را به صورت آنلاین پوشش می‌دهند که به آن گواهی بیمه خودرو المثنی گفته می‌شود.
